How ten and the LinkedIn import extension handle your data.
ten is an executive search CRM hosted by your firm. The Chrome extension imports LinkedIn profile pages into your ten instance so you can track candidates without manual copy-paste.
We (the maintainers of this software) do not collect, receive, store, or proxy your data. The extension reads LinkedIn profile content in your browser and sends it directly to the ten instance URL you configure.
All imported profile data is stored on your self-hosted ten server (for example, ten-ats.fly.dev). That instance is operated by you or your firm — not by us.
The extension authenticates with bearer-token API keys. Keys are hashed with SHA-256 at rest on your ten server; the raw secret is shown only once when you generate a key.
We do not share or sell your data. Optional integrations such as OpenAI for CV parsing run only on your ten instance and only when you supply your own API key.
Deleting a person removes related sub-records. Revoke an API key anytime at Account → API keys. Because ten is self-hosted, you can export or delete the SQLite database (data.db) whenever you choose.
Questions? Open an issue on the project repository or email your ten administrator. This policy may change as the product evolves.
